His first wife had apparently moved to Texas and she had 2 children that were not my husband's but who's fathers were not part of the picture. In the early morning hours of April 1st I got a phone call while he was at work from a man in Texas telling me that my hubby's ex was killed in an auto accident and that the older child remembered our phone number and since she had no family they needed a home for the children. I planned all day how to fit 2 extra children into the duplex we rented, when hubby came home I had him call the guy, then we talked to my hubby's father and he gave us a credit card for hubby to fly down and get the kids while I went through the phone book looking for a lawyer to help us. Later that evening SHE called, claimed to have been in a car accident and purses flew and it was mistaken identity and one of the other ladies in the car was killed! I told hubby that no way was that possible, there had to be someone to identify the body before all that would go on so, she pull the biggest prank of all times on us and we will never forgive her. My heart ached for those kids and then to find it was a joke, no, not funny!
