I am taking the time to go to Private mail to let you know it is there, I would just like to know that you got it and it wasn't just a whim that you requested it....I don't need flowers, I don't need pats on the back, I just am asking for common courtesy.
And thank you so much to those who do let me know you have picked them up, as it makes my work worth it!! And thank you for those who haven't requested and are enjoying them anyway!! I love my cutie friends......am not angry with anyone, just dissappointed with some............

Es geht in dem Post darum, daß Basketnose verständlicherweise etwas enttäuscht ist, wenn Leute ihr eine PM schicken mit dem Wunsch nach einem Design/ Ornament, sie dieses macht, bei DBC hochlädt und demjenigen extra wieder eine PM schickt, daß es jetzt fertig ist und derjenige/diejenige es sich runterladen kann und manche es nicht einmal für nötig befinden, ihr wenigstens eine PM zukommen zu lassen, daß sie die Nachricht bekommen haben und das Design gefunden haben. So was nannte sich zu meiner Zeit "gute Kinderstube" und ich finde es sehr großzügig von ihr, daß sie ihr Talent hier mit allen teilt.
Wir freuen uns doch alle, wenn wir unsere "Schatzkistchen" mit neuen Mustern füllen können. Ein kurzes Dank wäre da ja das mindeste...

Vicky this very special animal is in German: "Innerer Schweinehund" (inner pig-dog?).
If you have p.e. to do more sport as a New Years pledge than you have often to fight against this mean little animal who wants to hold you on your couch with the chips in one hand and the remote control in the other (or just in front of your PC to chat with your cuties ;o).

Can also understand your feelings and enjoy all the states and country ornaments coming up. You invest a lot of talent and time. About PMs well, I try to take a look at my PM button on a regular base, sometimes it just slips my mind, not that I what to be rude, it is just not a regular to me - yet. There is hope. B-)

On PMs, I do admit though that I'm not as good as I should be about looking at them. Maybe others goof that up too. I'll surely be more vigilant in the future though.
So from all of us to you -- THANK YOU!!! You are a blessing.

I was taught to say thank you for everything that somebody else does for me. No matter what, or how small the job. And I really do like the ornaments. I think they would make a marvelous quilt. Of course, that's a "some day" job for me right now.

I personally have never understood some people and their requests like your time is not just as important as theirs... I too say thank you for everything because my mother would be so disappointed if I didn't... She didn't raise me that way ! My biggest gripe is people wanting designs converted to another format.. There is plenty of FREE software to do that. Wendi

I did say thank you when I downloaded the Costa Rica ornament I requested. I did not respond by PM because I did not receive one from you- I hope you did not think I was ungrateful. That is definitely NOT the case- I love the ornament, especially the toucan.

It is a shame that there are some people (thankfully few and far between) who will take advantage of the fact that you love to digitise and share your work.
There are others here who still don't understand that designs in DBC are created by fellow members and that we don't get paid or receive any other recognition for our work.
I love digitising, but it can be terribly frustrating that after all the many days of work and pleasure doing it, it can all be ruined by a careless lack of gratitude, or more "demands" for variations of the same design or poor quality stitch outs by machines needing service or a novice not using stabiliser or using the wrong stabiliser or being too mean to add topping to a design to stitch it out correctly.
I try not to let things upset me but sometimes you feel so abused, you can't help asking yourself, why do I bother. And it all comes back to, because I love to digitise and I love to share my gifts.

So true, Meganne! I've decided never to upload again a couple of times because of rude remarks or harsh requests, but I won't let my joy of digitising and giving away designs be spoiled by a minority. I love positive feedback, after stitching the designs, but am glad with a simple 'thank you' after downloading too. What I hate is a PM saying I want it in 5x7 too (or even worse in a different colour!) and not seeing a thank you in the posting of the original design.
Neither do I like altering a design to a specific request and when I ask in a PM for an email to be sent to me so I can send the design, I hear absolutely nothing in return.

I will bend over backwards to create a special design for someone, even tonight I have spent the last 6 hours working on one design and I will probably spend triple that time before I am happy with the first draft....
Most people have no idea how much time and effort some digitisers put into their designs because they want them to be as close to perfect as possible for them.
OH well, the ones who do appreciate us make all the effort worthwhile and thankfully there are thousand more of them than the others.
Off my soap box and back to digitising before the sandman tries to knock me out again. :-)))

Our son is an atmospheric scientist and travels the world teaching scientest about weather satilites, his Christmas tree this year will have a few countries added to it thanks to YOU. Hugs-Rebecca

I would feel the same as you, if this happened to me. I also love to digitise and help out where I can. I also go onto my designs loaded on "designs by cuties" if they come to the top of the page and give comments to those that have left a comment for me. If there are requests that cuties have, I ask them to send me a pm, if it is for a personal design I ask them to email me and I will forward direct to them as I feel it is a waste to load these onto "designs by cuties". If they don't send the email, they won't get the design.
Hope that the Cuties have taken note of your request, as this is the least that they can do for you.
