Well this is what I made in my class today! I plan on embroidering fsl butterflies all over it. I wasn't going to post it until it was done but I am having trouble posting my daiper bag pic, sew I thought I would post this to see if this one works?

Oh this is gorgeous. The colors are so bright and pretty. I think of candy when I look at it. I might even be able to do this kind of a quilt. I've always been afraid to start one because of all the pieces that have to be put together so tediously. I am one of those people who want instant success so quilting is too slow. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely, I got the pattern from Utube and made one in Background fabrics last week. I hope to cut it in half and make two cot quilts. Embroider them and perhaps send to Japan

This is just beautiful! Did you really do this in just one day? How wide are the rows? What made it go together so fast? I want to make a graduation quilt for a special student - would this be a good quilt for that? It's gorgeous!

Loralye, this is just gorgeous - I loe the placement of your colours too. I think strip quilting is wonderful, so quick and easy. With the embellished butterflies on it, it will be gorgeous.
