Great learning experience - isn't it? And remember where ever the needle goes in leather - there will be a hole forever.

I am doing another one now its cool !!
I know we're not every supposed to get leather wet, but seems like in old western movies they would tie wet leather on the bad guys and let it shrink. Yikes!! But my point is, wonder if it would make the holes less noticeable?
well i can't see the holes in this it is covered in by thread !!!
I never understood why you can't get leather wet when cows get rained on all the time!
hay when you ride your skiddoo it gets snowed on all the time (wet)???carolyn

Caolyn, it looks great. I have wanted to try this,but haven't yet. I asked my dealer for a leather needle for my machine and she didn't know what I was talking about. Now I will try it with an old one like you did. Hugs Lynn.

They do make a special needle for leather, it kind of cuts the leather rather than putting a hole in it, maybe the slice closes and is less noticable than a hole. Just a thought.
