I once did a project decorating the inside of an egg. We had to cut an oval hole, paint the whole inside with glue and let dry. Then the inside was decorated with mini flowers and the like.

Hi Vicki,
I bet that it looked gorgeous. It's such a small area to work in. Love and blessings Chris

way before digital camera days. They were meant to resemble the Faberge egg. One lady put little bride/groom in them. Mine had purple and pink dried flowers with background of white salt crystals. Stunning!!!ha ha

What a novel idea. Must have been very nice. I made a mosaic picture once, many moons ago. I painted glue on a wooden square, Flattened the egg shell on top, let it dry, then painted a geisha on it with water color, and framed it. I won first prize.

How strange - I did one once. Painted blue with a bit of gold braid glued around the hole. Inside was a Nativity scene in gold on a piece of cottonwool. I used wire with beads threaded on it for a hanger for the Christmas tree. I remember I made it at primary school. Every year it is hung up and now my daughter has it. Thank you for the reminder.

I kept mine for years too, but think they have been tossed out now. It was good to do though. Yours sounds very grand!!
I have asked my daughter to send me a picture of it!!!

must have been lovely, sorry you didn't make a picture. But I can imagine it was pretty. Never seen something like this in the egg.
