I just finished this prayer pillow. I can't remember where the project idea came from, but the tribal cross is from a cutie and the Faith is from EmbLibrary. I really like the idea and the pillow, but it ended up lumpy. Can anyone tell me how to make a non-lumpy pillow? I tried to pull my stuffing apart before I stuffed the pillow, but I still ended up with a lumpy pillow. Do I need to use a different kind of stuffing? Is there a trick? Should I put a layer of batting on both sides on the inside? What did I miss? I don't like lumpy pillows :(

Love your pillow. Maybe you stuffed it too much. I help make pillows for Mercy hospital Auxilary and the ladies stuffes them lightly.

It doesn't feel overstuffed. It actually feels like it needs more stuffing - but it was so lumpy I didn't want to add any more to it. I'm so bad at them it makes me want to buy all my pillow forms but these always come out so irregular in size that I can't!!

Perfect idea for my niece...who is hard to find gifts b/c she already has everything and who can know what a teenager will like? Thank you for the idea. and I think you did a beautiful job.

It was super easy to make and I used my teens jeans that were too little. She picked the designs and fabrics and away we went! We have since cut up a bunch of old corduroy skirts, khaki skirts and other jeans. We tried to incorporate the zippers and buttons sometimes too. Quite interesting!

Thank you. I'll have to look for that. I generally have to buy over the internet if I can't get it at Walmart. JoAnns is over an hour away and our store doesn't always have a lot of stuff for some reason.
