do you have to save the photo, and than the color chart seperate, such as the cute alphabets?

I know windows 7 has new ways of doing things, I love the post it notes, and the snip tools.

You could open a word document, copy and paste the colour chart into it, then insert the photo and save the document, this would avoid the necessity for storing photo's and colour charts separately.

Jep that's what I do too, Works fine for me, and gets a name I can remember what to search for.

I don't have Windows 7 as you asked but I don't save my color files in Word but as a .txt (or notepad) file. The file opens quicker. I have lots of color thread chards to refer the number to and I have the picture file also. It do wish there was a way to save the color file and picture as a .jpg like some of the digitizers do.
