Are you asking about these? I think they are called fleur di li? And I to do not know the significance.

Well, I am pretty sure not to understand what you are looking for ;-) but do you mean "Paisley"?
Designs formed like drops? But these are of persian and indian origin, not french.
(I added a link to my favorite "french" collection- ideal for a young girl loving Paris. Not Paisley but fun.)
