This was my 1st attempt at doing an embroidery and rag baby quilt for one of my great grandbabies. The material is flannel and the backing, along with the batting is just another layer of flannel. It was one of those that the squares were embroidered then put together, then sewn up and clipped. The clipping and fringing almost took the longest for me to do. HaHa. Loretta

Beautiful. I love it. Yes the clipping takes a long time and very sharp scissors if you don't want blisters!

Clawton, thank you, I used some snips, that are made just for this, the handles helped, but my old hands and eyes didn't let me do it quickly, but I got it done. HaHa.
A flower for you kind remarks.

I love the designs and nice bright colors. Baby is sure to love it. Yes, I can agree. I did one of these. A lap top one with jus snowflake(?) outlines. I was told to fold edge over cutting mat and cut with a rotary cutter, but after doing it that way for a while I found I wasn't making same length of cuts. *'s4U
