The way I see it tulle is like the vail that a bride would wear. Soft and drapes nicely. Netting is more stiff and the holes are larger. Others may see them as one in the same.

I tend to agree with Ramona. At. least the netting that they are using in the scrubby wash clothes - should be the larger holes and stronger - that will stand up to hard scrubbing and washing and drying, too.

Tulle definitely bridal veil. Netting the stuff they use for stiff petticoats - we used it for tutu's when my sister did ballet.

Tulle is very soft and feels like "air". Net is hard and scratchy. Hate to work with it.

Good question. Now with the replies you got I now know the diff. I used to just go and get what I needed and just went by what it felt like. But I've never used much of either so I've been lucky. Thanks.
