I have a Babylock EMP6 and the threads jammed up I cleaned out thread but machine has error message motor locked. Can you tell me what to hold down to get to repair screens?

Welcome to Cute, sorry I cant help but knowing Cute there will be someone along soon. Have you turned the power off for a few mins and seen what has happened after you have cleaned up the threads?

Try cleaning the needle plate.You will have to remove the plate and remove any visible threads.

on the needle plate is there a burr if so get some fine sandpaper and file it till its smooth !!carolyn

Hi, Be sure to clean outthe neddle plate, bobbin casing, and rethread. Turn off the machine and turn on again. The machine has basically turned itself off in a self preservation effort. You really need to be sure you have all threads removed and the machine rethreaded. It usually works for me. Good luck and let us know how you make out. And welcome.
