My neighbor gave me a loveseat so I decided to re-upholster it. I have been taking an upholstery class since January, 2010 in 6 week sessions. I started this project in January, 2011 and finished it in April, 2011. I really enjoy this class and have learned so much. This is the 3rd piece of furniture that I have upholstered. My first 2 pieces were matching wingback chairs. Next I'm going to make valances for my dining & living rooms. This will be another challenge since I've never made drapes.

Nice work. Think of all the money you saved. Take care with your sewing machine tho, Heavy material can take a toll on your machine especially with piping.

Wonderful job!! It looks lovely. Oh, you'll not have any trouble with the valances. After reupholstering a piece of furniture, the draperies will be a breeze! Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing photos with us.

This is a very tough job. You're a cushion artist. Have you learned? Very professional work.

Thank you. I've been taking this class for about a year now in 6 week sessions. The teacher is wonderful and very patient with each of us. She wants every piece to be perfect or you have to re-do it, but it's worth it. She has been teaching this class for 40 years.
Really great. I would love to can do so. Greetings from Germay Pisanec

This is a class that our local Extension Office offers. They have all kinds of classes. The price of the classes are reasonable to $25.00 for 6 week session.
