Would not have made me laugh!!! I hate mice! They are nasty, greedy, and they make a mess everywhere they touch something! I would have swatted the cat away and beat the mouse to death with the broom. They found a way in my house 3 times during the winter and I had to take everything out of the cabinets and run them through bleach and then put them in the dishwasher. It was about 6 loads!! I hope and pray that we found the right place to stop up! I still have those sticky pads in the cabinets just in case. I got a new mop and mopped all the lower cabinets with bleach and Pine Sol then rinsed them and went back and cleaned them by hand again with new water and cleaner. I can not get down low enough with by back and the arthritis to clean all the way in the corner cabinets so by the time I got through each of the 3 different times...I was in bad shape. If I ever see another one I will beat it to death just to see it die!!!! We think they got in under the washer and dryer where the pipes come up through the floor. I am allergic to cats but if it happens, I am going to my friends house and get one of hers. They also scare me around my Pekingese. They have big ole eyes and would be very easy for a cat to scratch. The one I have now has had no problems with hers eyes but I have had a few whose eyes would run constantly. It would leave a permanant stain under their eyes. I do hope your Cat killed the thing!
