The small fabric pieces are sewn to a piece of batting, overlapping just sewn with a decorative stitch, tried some couching as well. If you have no batting try to us a thin cleaning cloth (washable). Wirh such a small piece you can practise your free motion quilting too.

Nic to see - I went to a sit and sew, and we have decided that we are going to do something that will make us use all of the feet tht we have. We did couching last evening, but I did not know that there were emb designs digitized to do this. Remarkable what they are doing. Anyway, we are all going to learn to "sew with out feet".

I took classes on "Sewing with our Feet" I was so amazed at all the things we were shown how to do. I had several of the feet that I had never used before and others, well I just HAD to have, lol
