A couple years ago I was at an embroidery session, and they shwed how to do these. They have the designs out there in many areas. What they did was buy one of the wall clocks at Walmart for about $5 -took the plactic cover off, and changed out the clock face with the embroidered one. I made the design for my sewing room, bought the clock, and do you believe that I have not done it yet! You have to be careful though when you remove the hands to put on the embroidered face. By doing it this way it is less expensive and the clock movement is all ready included. Hope you do one and let us see.

hello letvia, in emblibrary.com they have one clock face that I know of, but they also have instructions with it on how to attatch the ebroidered face onto a pre-made clock. If you type in clockface into the sites search engine, I'm sure you will find it. Hope this helps. *4U.

Clocks are fun to make, and relatively easy. I use the inexpensive ones from Wal-Mart, they come in several colors. The Emb-Library and www.atimetostitch.com have big selections of designs ready to stitch. If you have Embird, and any of the pug-in fonts, there is an option for a clock face. You put in the parameters, and a circle of numbers appears, them you can just use the designs you have. The Emb-Library has instructions that would apply to any clock, especially for the construction. I like to have several made up, and if I need a last minute gift, especially a hostess gift; I have something ready. People seem to love getting them.

I have several clock designs including the ones from Sick. I buy my clocks at WalMart just like dlonnahawkins. I make them up in batches and save for when a gift is needed. I also sell them at the Farmers Market and they are a big hit. Emblibrary has good instructions also.
