When I saw these designs from Emb Lib of Grandma's Brood and her chicks, I knew I had to do something with them for my sister in law, who LOVES chickens! I used one of those already made denim tote bags and lined it with some green chicken fabric I already had on the shelf! Her grandbabies call her MEMaw, so I found an alphabet in my files called Chicken Scratch - how appropriate!- and changed that. She LOVES it and uses it every day. It was a HIT! How could I miss?

I did wish I had some chicken wire fabric to put on the bottom...
