Me! But it's a fair bit further than 5 hours from here. I had no idea how many waterfalls and active volcanoes you have. Beautiful scenery. I could fit in as a local, as well, as I have the same colouring as those in the ad -my father was from Estonia :)Thanks for showing us, Sigrun.

My son and I have been exploring the possibility of coming to Iceland for the past couple of months. He is seriously considering applying to the University in Reykjavík in their engineering programs. His main concern is that he would be so far away from home. If we do get the chance to come, I would love to meet a fellow Cutie. :)

A lovely region, Sigrun! It looks so serene and peaceful, when watching the waterfalls! I would love to visit one day, but no vacation in sight for me for quite some time to come!! It would be great to meet you, and share this beautiful scenery with you!

I would love to visit. It looks very peaceful and calm. Lots of nature. My son has actually been there several times and I have some pictures he took from the air. He is in the military and they can refuel there I think. I told him it would be too cold for me and he said only in the winter, otherwise it is lovely there. I thought Iceland was cold all the time and Greenland was warmer. He explained to me how each country got their names. It was to fool the enemy. The enemy thought Iceland was always full of ice so wouldn't go there and Greenland was a better place. Just the opposite I understand. Correct me if I'm wrong on that Sigrun.
