Good!

My disappointments for the day was:
The cold Temperatures and winds for the day.
And
I was expecting my chicks this coming Thursday (just in time for Easter), got a call yesterday that said I won't get them until May 5th now. The hatchery can't keep up with the demand this year.

The bright side of my day was spend with my granddaughters at an Easter Egg Hunt. We had fun despite the bitter cold! Thank goodness they had some stuff going on inside so we had somewhere to go and warm up or it would have been awful! The egg hunt was on a hillside out in the open cold wind and got started 25 minutes late for the 0 to 4 year olds. My poor little granddaughters were jumping up and down trying to stay warm. The 5 to 8 started 10 minutes late, but one of the girls did win a Toy story fleece, which we had to stand out in the cold for also. And the last group 9 to 12 started 30 minutes early. The building was not large enough to contain all the children and adults attending. My daughter said next year if its this cold we are not going!

We where quite thankful that it wasn't snowing or raining. But the poor girls should have been in snowsuits.

Too bad it was so cold - that is just awful - when they have a big event like that and it isn't on time and out in the cold.

We where given the impression that it would be indoors if it was too cold. We'd never been to the place before so we had no idea how small it was. There was no way they could have moved everything indoors.
