Our winds were terrible and when I thought something hit the house it must have been a micro burst that took down a couple miles of trees. We had to call DOT(Department of Transportation) to have several trees removed from our road. Couldn't go anywhere for three hours. Tried to load a couple pictures and it said upload error #2 what ever that means.

Glad to know both of you are ok - I was somewhat worried for you each.

Contrary to what people think we still get tornados up at higher elevations. Once I was looking at the clouds and it was when I was very ill and the part of the dark cloud hanging down mesmerized me and when I realized it was a small tornado got the kids to the basement. It went between the house and garage taking down trees and hop skipping and touching down for the next seven miles. It has only been in the last couple years we get local weather - well 80 some miles away. We rely on the weather channel's radar map to know what is happening weather wise. My heart goes out to the families who lost their family members and are without shelters.

I am so glad that you are ok. I was very happy when my husband's brother called. He is OK. This is so scary.
