Hi, is it possible to download an old free design? And if so how?

Not unles you buy a subscription to Cute or it comes up again as a free one, which is possible since the community vote on the available designs.

One of the great things about this website is that the owner constantly improves it! Based upon requests from visitors, Veronika changed her website recently, so we can purchase most individual designs for just $1.00. (Previously, the only option was to purchase an entire set.)
So, if you've been collecting free letters each day and you miss one day, then you can buy one design for just $1.00. (Or, you can encourage others to vote for a freebie that you missed. Sometimes, while we're waiting patiently for new letters to be digitized and tested, free designs get voted as winner again.)

I believe you must purchase unless it comes around again dear. But they are very inexpensive. Am I right girls. At my age I feel like everyone's grandma.

You have probably been given the answer you didn't want to hear, but correct. Here is one more option given by maeeast. If you see something you really MUST have, you can request that we get behind your vote for a particular one and sometimes, that works. Not everyone who visits the site, visits the community section, so that is why we don't always prevail. Oh, and welcome! We are happy you are here. ;)
