What do I use as a stabilizer (or other product) so that the stitches don't rub on the babies skin? I have never embroidered on a onesie before. I looked at some shirts already embroidered at Wal-Mart and they have some sort of flexible mesh stabilizer ironed on behind the design but I don't know what it is called or what to ask for at Joanns. Thank you!

You can use a light mesh cutaway and then put a flexible mesh cover ironed on behind it - as Wal-Mart does.
Right now it is on speical at Shopper's Rule - it is called Cloud Cover.

I use a product called Floriani. It is beautifully soft. A friend bought me back some from USA.

I use a pellon knit iron-on stabilizer on the back of everything that will be worn. You should be able to get it at most fabric stores - and it is pretty inexpensive. It is just like cloud cover or some of the other stabilizer manufacturers product.
