I would call a dealer and see if you can get a price range..... or look on Amazon.com or Ebay.

I googled Viking Topaz and it had no price.
The Brother site is the same way -- you have to go through a dealer.

For what it is worth. I have a Brother 780 (emb. only) I found it on Amazon..and it was much cheaper than my dealer's.... He matched Amazon's price.

My friend purchased one - I think that she paid sbout $4000 for it. But, with the new Diamond Delux coming out very soon, they may be taking the price down some. She is not really happy with it, and the screen does not show color. She still prefers her Designer 1. The only good thing is the larger hoop.

If you are looking for a large hoop machine.. the Brother Inov-is 2800D has a 12x7 hoop... and they are just about always on sale.

When I got my little 780D in November the Inov-is was about 2700 and they were giving away a huge pack of Brother thread.

I just didn't want to put that much into a machine when I have a great Viking comp. machine and I did not want a sew and emb combination.
