Quilting Grippers(looks like a telephone handle)for about 4.00 in the handicap help section. Plus all kinds of cheap rulers(triangle, squares-Flying geese etc).All kinds of plastic containers(for threads, supplies etc) for a whole lot less. Just don't drool too much or they'll raise the prices.

I love that store! I have not seen any sewing machine totes, but I have other items for sewing like the plastic containers, etc. the problem is I want the tools too:)

The toe bags are actually for tools. But it has wheels and is padded.fit my ellisimo w/o embroidery unit for a whole lot less.Now when I need to take it in for check-ups It's in a padded container and I can wheel it in.I also bought a can of "plastic coating" dip garden handles in the goo and it forms a protective gripper handle when dry.Now my pliers, wire cutters etc all have colored plastic ends.

Just go and look around. I also bought a tube of plastic clamps(2.99)Great to close chip bags or lettuce bags.The greatest buy was the gloves. They have the gripper dots just as in the quilt shops.Also you can find the clear plastic for the Easter bags some of you were making.I like the Horse feeding buckets also but only find those at Home Depot. hang them on fences add some hanging flowers/vines.Look Great and dirt cheap!

Never heard of that store, but they are probably not in Canada. Good shopping! There are some Items for sewing/emb. that I've found in Dollarama and are very good!

I always buy my brooms and mops here. Great source for my socks also. They have the breathing holes so no sweaty feet.And lots of mini can goods.Stella

Someone posted a while back that they also have 45 mm rotary cutter blades 2 for $1.99 - mine has been sold out every time I try to get them - the secret is apparently out!

Great tips, we don't have a Harbor Freight but when we go to Florida to see family we always go there...I've been wanting a gripper for my wide ruler so I will be picking up one there....thanks so much.

I just rec'd my order for the rotary blades, can't beat the price as they are the same as the expensive blades. Hubby owns part of Harbor Freight(not really, he just buys alot from them) so shopping there is fun. I just tell him what I'm looking for and he finds it and orders it for me.I use the magnetic bowls for my pins, think they were on sale once for around $2.00. So, cuties, Harbor Freight is just not a "guy" place. Carol

Yay for Harbor Freight! I go there all the time, and get neat stuff, like a tiny screwdriver set for my sewing machine that has a head that swivels 90 degrees! That was only $2.99, I think. I've seen those sewing machine totes, they call them "tool cases", but we know what they are, hee hee hee. I haven't seen the rulers and such, but I'm going to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for letting everyone know. Too often, when something is labeled a "quilting" or "embroidery" or any other 'specialty' product, it's twice as expensive as it needs to be. Great saving tip!
