should feel like I am operating a new machine? This was nearly a month on going with this service. I took it in initially and when it came back it was worse than when I took it in. But, it is good to have it back, and I will be in on it this afternoon trying to get some Easter things done. This was my first SE, and I did miss it. I was about to bring out my Iris, but it probably would forget how to sew. I have not had it out of the case since I purchased the SE, and then my other SE a little later. LOL

Everyone hates to go a model backward in this high tech world. It is amazing how many items are obsolete within just a couple of years.

How right you are! I don't know if I could even remember how to operte the embroidery card for the Iris - but it would stitch nicely, I am sure.

well I guess I know where you got your 'baby', the machines are terrific, the service leaves a lot to be desired. At least it's home safe and sound. FYI The sewing Garret on Beville rd has an in shop repairman, just in case you want to know......;-)

Do they work on Viking? That would be interesting.
