Why not add buttons for the center? Leave the one in the center as is.

How about an echo around the flowers or you could just do I vine of leaves amongst the sashings.....whatever you do will be beautiful

Very pretty, Carolyn. Before I read Camylow's answer I thought echo quilting, it usually makes the design - the flowers in your case - stand out beautifully. Stitch in the ditch for the brown would make a nice contrast to the flowing lines of the echo quilting. But whatever you do, I think it will make a lovely quilt!

Stipple quilting would fill in around the flowers and also bring out the flowers more,

This is beautiful.

vines are very easy to do. cut your material on the bias and include 1/2" for seams plus however wide you want them. sew down one side placing fabric right sides together. now sew down other taking 1/4" hem as you go. or you can use stitch withery or other like material to just glue down and use decorative stitching. being on bias makes it easy to curve your vine. hope this helps. your quilt is beautiful and STRAIGHT. nice work. good luck. betty
