Can you please help me with, some quick wedding gift ideas? My neice eloped recently after living with her partner, for many years. They have almost everything, so I am really stuck for ideas.

I took a cheap pair of pillow cases and embroidered a bride and groom in the middle with their names on left side and their wedding date on the right.

Thank you for the suggestion. Decided I will go with the Towel set, but will include their names and wedding date.

When I want a gift for someone that has almost everything I get gift cards to their favorite restaurant. Also make his and hers towel sets.

If they have everything - then they don't need anything - give them something that you think they will like.....

Towels, pillows, pillowcases, or picture frame with their names and the wedding date embroidered in gold or silver.

Would have loved to do the frame, but sew so intermittently haven't got the courage yet. Will do funny designs for a towel set, which is my first towelling. Also their names and wedding date.

You might consider personalized table linens if you'd know the color scheme or a basket with various romantic picnic items. Also, a couple spa day gift card might be helpful.

You can never have enough linen and it is wonderful to embroider something personal.

Such a good idea to 'elope"!
Maybe something for a special occasion like Easter theme table linen or Romantic, with lace on placemats and lace coasters.(so nice for dinner for two)
Happy Stitching

I would think your gift idea would depend on the relationship you have with your niece.
I like the idea of towels or linens.... if the couple is "fun", add some toilet paper rolls to the mix.

What have you chosen?

Decided I will go with the towel set, with a funny design. Yes they enjoy a good laugh, so I will also try my first toilet paper roll as well. Thank you.

I think the linens or towels would be a good gift. Even some nice kitchen towels. Something with their initials maybe? or just a nice deisgn with something fun they like to do. If they've been together for some time, these things are the first to be replaced. If they are like me, it's something I always manage to put off. Embroidery Library has some nice pillowcase designs that say "goodnight" and "sweetheart". I believe the also have a sale on right now. Here is the link.

So many couples just choose to live together and never get married. They must truly love each other very much. How about some towels focused on their love, names, something about where they went to elope. Celebrate their union. You can make something that is truly personal, like no one else can!

If they live near you, how about making a nice insulated casserole cover(of course, with a design embroidered on it) with a casserole in it and a promise to fill it once a month, or however often your time and budget allow. Could be a main dish one month , a desert one, etc. If they are both working I'm sure they would love not having to cook after a long day.

Unfortunately, they are quite a distance away. This is a wonderful idea though, that could be used for a lot of occasions. I will keep this one in mind, for the future. Thank you.
