You can do it 2 ways. On a cover that velcros shut or directly onto the toilet paper. Below is a tutorial on how to embroider ONTO the toilet paper. Have fun!

Thanks for the info, jrob, but I still don't see the point of it, not ONTO the paper.

I embroider right on the TP not sure how others do it. I use cutaway stabilizer on the bottom, 2 sets of 4 TB one on top of the other. I use a stick spray to hole them on the cut away plus a little between each sheet. When I'm done i just cut the tearaway to match the size of the TP, wrap around a roll with the cardboard center taken out and put a small piece of tape to hold it at top and bottm. Have made dozens of them to sell. Really fun. I think someone here did it on a material then put around. Guess it's up to the person making them. Try it they are fun. *4U

Even though you said people actually buy these, I still am not convinced. What if someone got in a bind and used this roll? Then all your work would be down the drain, literally.(HA!Ha!)Just kidding

This may be a dumb question but why in the world would anyone want to embroidery on toilet paper and who in the world actually first thought to do it?? lol And what were they doing when it came to mind?

I agree with you. I could see a point in making a "cover" for your extra roll left out, then if you run out, remove the cover, and reuse cover on another roll, but it is such a waste on the toliet paper itself. I suppose they never actually use this roll, it is just for decoration, but I still like fabric.
