7zip is an open source program for unpacking loads of different archives including zips and rars - meaning its free .. oh and I use it. :)

Most of the .rar pages I've found are German. But the site I found yesterday when I asked the question was http://www.utchens-stickstudio.de/Freebies.html . You will have to search, but will find about five pages of gorgeous freebies, including an entire FSL bowl, doily set, and lots of other types of designs. I cannot believe that she has posted it all for free!!
