Is there a way to request this gorgeous fringed flower as a single image (no leaves and stem) to fit in a 4X4 hoop? I would love it larger! This takes fun to a whole new level for me.

I don't know if you can request it how you want it.. what i have found is to just not stitch what you don't want....

I have such a basic machine, I can not figure out if you can stitch only certain things :( I am such a visual learner that manuals put me to sleep! lol My friend has a much "nicer" (expensive) machine and she is able to go back and "correct" stitching. I am so jealous.

Problem with fringe is that most machine don't stitch a satin stitch wider than 12-15 mm (depending on the brand) so a wider one is probably not possible.

As for skipping the stem and leaves: even at the most simple machine you can skip a colour and go to the next. But to make sure that the flower is where you want it print a template of the (complete) design and use that for placement.

Does this work for designs bigger than your hoop, and does it save as a smaller design like sqillette is asking for? Wondering because I too would like to use designs that don't downsize properly if I can just not use parts of the design in order to make it work.

That would work except that this design skips back and forth between the 2 flowers as it stitches. I would like to stitch just one flower in the center of my hoop. I can do this by using 2 hoops but it's more work.
