Hi when you click on the blue name like you dragonflyer it takes you to another screen and under the picture on the left you will see a tab that says private message. Hit that tab it opens a box and type what you need to as usual under that screen and hit send. It will go to that person as a private message. Hope I made it clkeasr for you? Ssuzanne

you just click on the underlined blue name of the member at the right site of the avatar and the you can see the profile and under the avatar there is a tab "send a private message". Click on it and you can write and send a message just to that member directly.
When you are in communtity you can see one tab at top with"Private" and there are your PM (found my first ones about 10 months after there were send to me; that's why people often made a post "...you got a PM" :o)

If you are not near a post of the person you want to send the message to (so you can't click on their name) you can go to the first community page and search for members on the right side (not the Google search). Type in the name and then click on the blue name that comes up in the lower box. It will take you to their personal page and you you will see the private message box under their avatar.

I did not post the design because I find it rather difficult to explain how-to-do-it without pictures. That's why I made a tutorial to go with it. But I'll gladly send you design and tutorial.
