I have a FSL design of a bone. I can also put a name in this design. Does anyone know of a similiar design for a cat? Freestanding a must, maybe a fish? Thank you. Betty

Adding a name to FSL depends on how dense the base of the design is. Is it almost solid with stitches? Then it will probably hold a name? Does it look like a spider web you can see through easily? Then a name won't work. You will have to judge it and try it.
If you can show us a picture or tell us where you got it then you might get more knowledgeable opinions.
Just remember, the stitches that make up the name have to hold onto something. If it's not dense enough you might be able to do the design on a fabric like felt or a non-woven stabilizer that you will leave in.

under free designs in the lace section there are fish. You may be able to put a name on them. They are on page 12
