mollymarie - you can buy glow in the dark at Wal-Mart not sure if you have those there and also they always have it on ebay (I know you have that) and the prices aren't bad either.

My dealer sells it, one by Robison-Anton, I don't know if you can get RA there in OZ. The RA glow in the dark is rather expensive. Marji

There are so many types of thread. The glow in the dark is cute for childrens clothes and etc. Marathon brand comes to mind. Saw a lamp shade done with some of the thread, and then when the lite was turned out the shade glowed. Rather unique.

I realize when one pays postage; it can be expensive unless you have other items to order at the same time.

Hello Mollymarie, you can get it, but I'm not sure about where in Australia. Robison Anton do a series called "Moonglow" in mini-king spools which you can get via a website called www.shoppersrule.com for $13.95US but they have a make an offer and you can haggle for the best price. Even with the exchange rate and postage, it can work out much cheaper to get your thread this way if there is just nothing locally. there is also another website called allstitch.net, also American, but they have the total range of Madeira threads at $2.95 for a 1000m spool. Have a look there to see if they have glow in the dark. If Marathon have it, try www.shinwooaustralia.com (they are in Collingwood, Vic - and no I am not a "one-eyed magpies supporter!!!LOL) and have a huge range of Marathon. They have a contact number on the site. I was going to do some free standing lace snowflakes for the christmas tree in glow in the dark, but then there's everything else to get through. Hope all this helps and let us know how it all goes.
