panicy when I saw the piles grow from 3 to 7! After a deep breath I new I was doing the right thing as I packed them up to take to the car. After all if I really needed all that, I would have used it already...Right???!!! Going to a new home and my home looks better too!! :) Now what to do tomorrow? Ah yes.... sewing, as our 3 month old Grand daughter Brielle will need some summer dresses soon. Hugs corinne : )

Wow! Do you want to come organize my sewing room? <BG> I hope the material & wool you are getting rid of goes to a good home.

I just got back from B.C. not long ago and my sister took me straight to her sewing room and said "Help me please" with a big smile. Sew what could I do. She made dinner and looked over her mags. as I found things in her space she had forgotten about like 7 pairs of scissors! hehehe it's all good now. She loves her room again :)

Maybe I should hire my self out for just that purpose and then we could all do a fat quarter swap! Nice way to recycle your stash. :)

Corrine, good for you - I am sure you will make others very happy - when the fabric and other items are available for them to use.

Wow, I am really impressed. It takes a lot of self control to give up good stash! But, you probably won't miss it. Now you know exactly what you have and better yet - where it is! It must be a great feeling and just think how someone is going to be telling her friends what a great bargain she found on some terrific fabrics!

I am trying to get there too, but it is uphill all the way.
Thanks for the encouragement from all the Happy Tidy Friends, here.
