I must agree that I do not spend as much time, on Cute as before. Also because it has been so slow. But I love to visit with you all.

Don't fault Miss Veronica for this problem. When the site is very busy it will be slow and you will get timeouts. And part of the problem is in your own computer as to how much speed you have. I find that if I wait until later in the day I have far fewer problems. I know that everyone wants to visit the site as soon as they get up but I find that if it too slow then I just wait for a couple hours and it is much better. Don't stop visiting, just come at a later time.

I agree with Alice - these days it is terribly slow, especially this time of day. I find that in the morning (SA time) that there is nothing wrong with the speed. It certainly puts one off from visiting more.

Yes, it does get very slow and becomes frustrating. You want to visit all the wonderful places here and see all the great projects but it takes so long to leave a note on them that it takes up hrs on here. Those who post their projects don't get the remarks they need or deserve as it takes so long to load. Questions don't get responses because of the time. I do hope there is some type of fix for this. My end or Cute.

I agree with you. Reguarly I love to give flowers but if it all takes so much time I did not go to the projects and look very close which post I wanna read. That's a pity cause I could maybe help some cuties with questions but haven't got the time :o(
I thought there was a serverchange last yera when we all were for 3 days most of the time at YOU. Couldn't they put a little more capacity on the serverplace for CUTE?

I come for only short periods of time and have to give up often doing that. My computer is fast on all the other sites I go to. Please Mis Veronica look into a new server. You are popular a site but, so are many others I visit and I never have to wait this long to even post a note, or give stars. I love your site except for this one little thing. cj

I find it depends on the time of day and mostly I blame it on our own Bigpond service here in Aus, which runs very slow between 5 & 7 pm when the kids are home from school, then again after 8 pm when I figure Aussie males have had their dinner and get online for a while.

Also it gets much slower at the time our USA friends are waking up and getting online.

Also, with all the natural disasters around the world causing so much damage, there is bound to be less gateways routing the information across to the world, something people don't even think of.

Miss V put a new server into operation not very long ago so I don't think it is her end, more than likely the interruption to services caused by the recent tornadoes.

My computer is old and slow like me. Just get on here when you are up in the middle of the night or early morning. Most things are free so why complain????????????thanks Veronica

I'm surprised about complaints of this site being slow. I have no problems what-so-ever. I guess we live in the age of instant gratification and patience is no longer a virtue.

I agree, this site is often sooooooo slow.

The only thing that I find slow is giving flowers. Everything else is just great to me. Unless, my Verizon Broadband USB thingie switches to National Access. Then the whole internet is crawling.

Very occasionally do I have problems. Like Meg says it could be Bigpond here in Oz (I am not with them). What other sites can you go to and be directed to other sites for free designs, very few. I think Veronika provides a great service to us on here. Just how many are buying designs and how many are chasing freebies?????????? Marg

I must agree. I do not stay like I use to. Unfortinally this is the time I can come and can't come back later, but then I have to stop for just a bit.

Could be the age of your computer and your processor. I have a new desktop computer and have no problems with downloading. The old laptop is 4 yo, & very slow in download time

I don't know what time of the day you are visiting but I don't have any trouble in the mornings or around lunch time in OZ. I think the comments about Bigpond are probably accurate. I am not with them anymore and my providor is much more reliable than what I am hearing from Telstra customers.

I'm from OZ too & have found the site becoming slower & slower even though when I get on to it ,its usually midnight or later US time. I don't use bigpond but I'm going to give the present ISP the flick on the 19th & use vodafone usb stick internet pay as you go ,hopefully it will be faster.

Like my mom use to say all good things take time. Unfortunately A lot of things have to be taken into consideration, weather, users, age of your computer, your computer's processor and such, your internet carrier. Besides there are a ton of Cutes from all over the world wanting to get here quick fast and in a hurry. Patience friends we will get there sooner or later. Have a blessed day everybody.
