I love the fish design Jo - a good tool to use when cutting out the applique hole is a scalpel. If you don't have one of those then a very tiny sharp pair of scissors. Love and blessings Chris

Well done. I once read on an American website of a kind of "pen" that you can buy for $49 that cuts the material and "seals" the satin stitch.
