I did that a few yrs ago, started on the east coast went to Calif by way of the bottom of the country and came back through the middle of the country, We loved it. no sewing for a few months but did have my laptop and picked campgrounds by internet access LOL Have fun you will enjoy. be safe.

Oooo I envy you, 6 weeks! We go in December or January and head South, lol! Have a wonderful time! I've only been able to do 2 weeks at a time. Hopefully this year we'll get 3 weeks in late December and Early January. We take our laptop too, lol!

Youll be ok once in the holliday mode, we went for 5&1/2 weeks but chilling is the name of the game.

There isn't room in my home away from home for my sewing machine so I know how you feel! No free wi-fi on campsites here in UK - it is exhorbitantly expensive. Enjoy your trip!

I would definitely bring my sewing machine lol.
Even when I go to Sweden to see my mum I bring fabric with me so I can use my "old" sewing machine... I don't think she likes it as much as I do... since I take over her kitchen table..

Oh you must enjoy that. It is our dream to motorhome(RV) in the USA. We have a Winnebago here in South Africa which is left hand drive and my husband manage extremely well as we drive on the left hand side of the road.Remember to post some pics.
