It dosen't really look like much until you see it with the pot! I spent all day making this ( & four other tops) it is a small casserole tote made from random scraps! I have made these for prizes for our guild banquet, me & 4 other ladies will do these & about 200 coasters too! I'm tuckered out! What do you think would you like to win one of these? Pic on the left is the other 4 & the pic on the right is the casserole tote all pulled together

it's suppose to be all about the scraps, but after it took sew long to make this one I just pretty much did strips for the rest! Thanks Chris!

Super job - I don't know if I would have patience to do these in scraps - however - if you had lots of scraps and you enjoy stitching them together and making a piece of fabric - then that would be great - I would love to win one - as I know I would never make one like this - I have made one of these - but with quilted fabric and ribbing for the tie. *4U

Great way to use up a lot of scraps. I have a ton of them. I should try something like this.

Did you have a pattern for this? I can see that it is a square but how are the corners held together?
yes I did,it finishes 18" square, 2 corners have a loop & a plastic cirle & the other 2 corners have the ties. The ties loop through the circles & you just pull it up & carry it like that!
