As above. Thanks. I am looking at Pilot ? but they are made in China :(

I am not sure if there's any good thread stand out there with good quality material etc, sturdy etc. and able to perform properly as a thread stand hehhe.

THank you

the stand that Shirlene posted is the same one that I have-I actually use it off to the right hand side of machine-I love it! (I also have the MC9700). Luckily though-when I bought my stand it was half the price that the one is showing at the website that Shirlene showed-I have had it for probably 5 years though ~linda~

This may be a little late, but my DH took a block of wood, used a dowel and put hooks in the top for the thread to go in, and then smaller dowels to hold the large spools of thread. It hold 2 theads, but it was designed for me to use when I am really into doing my FSL. It has worked great, and it is actually better than the one that I bought to hold my mini spools. No tipping, and no thread tangles.
