My neighbor is very sick with cancer and isn't able to get out to get her grandbabies anything. So, I made hooded bath towels for her two 2-year old granddaughters. I used organic waffle-weave cotton for the towels, and lined the hoods with terrycloth.

The kitty design is a freebie from http://www.borduurhoekje.nl/freebees.html(available in three sizes) ,
and the bow (thank you kttyhwk4 for helping me find it!!) is available at
http://www.secretsof.com/content/2232 (also available in three varieties). Warning; the bow is not a true FSL. Needs something to help hold the shape. I used tulle. The towels have the girls names embroidered on the back. This was a fun project.

Thank you for your very kind comments. My neighbor doesn't have two nickels to keep each other company, but would gladly give someone else anything she owned if she thought they would benefit from it more than herself. It would take a dozen times to reach that level of selflessness. But I do think she will be happy with these. Her grandbabies are darlings.
