quiet I hear peep, peep, peep, and If I don't answer, Peep, Peep. Peep, and if I still don't answer, PEEP, PEEP, PEEP!!!! From there he jumps out of the box and starts to look for me, lol! My husband went outside and I went to take a shower earlier, and this little guy decided he was left alone and needed to find a freind. When my husband came in he was standing in the kitchen next to the stove going PEEP, PEEP, PEEP at the top of his little lungs. My husband said he could hear the turkey out in the garage as he was coming in. Of course I couldn't hear it because I was down the hall taking a shower. This little guy was my alarm clock at 5:45 AM this morning when my husband went to take his shower. I think he's feeling well enough to go back ou to his buddies outside in the coop.

Sounds like you have a good alarm clock. I have a four legged alarm clock. Would love to see a photo of your new baby!!!!

You certainly have an interesting life being a mom to a turkey. Glad the little guy is doing better.

Didn't take it long to adopt you as "mommy". Now you're going to be lonely without the peeping noise. HeHe.

Precious...can remember when I put an egg into the oven on warm to help a bantam chick hatch out then kept in the house for a few days....sounds about the same. Hugs

This brings back memories - when we were young we got baby chicks at Easter, and they had to be pampered some. My girls grew up not having pets like that. LOL

My little turkey was up to joining his siblings out in the little red barn yesterday. It was so happy to be back with the others. Checked on him several times and he's doing fine!
