hoop is very expensive - eg the 100 x 50 cost nearly 80 dollars!

I have bought one for my old hoop that was a Bernina
deco. Cost just a few dollars or less. It will work.

Yes, I have purchased one from my dealer: Atlanta Sewing Center, (770)428-5522. I'm thinking it was less than $10.00 Part # is: 030735.71.00 and is titled Genuine Bernina parts Secrew. Emb.Frame,L=58. Your dealer may carry it also.
P.S. I always keep a spare.;)

Thank you - glad to knoe it is available. I'm just one of those people who "wants it now". It's Sunday 10pm and of course no shops open, particularly a Bernina agent! Ha ha, guess have to wait for tomorrow.
Just spent the day trying to work out colours for a banner (face of Christ) without success. Time's running shortas I need to have it ready by next weekend - been working on it for a month and it's giving me sleepless night. The screw was the last strw!

Don't give up - you just needed a break - go get your screw's and keep on stitching.

That is one of those little parts that it is nice to have a spare on hand all the time. You might want to get 2 when you order.

Yea I stripped one out too. Bought a couple at my dealers because I live an hour from my dealer, and it usually happens late in the night. Good luck

Did the screw or nut strip? If it's just the nut you can go to the hardware store and find one that fits. If it's the bolt you probably will have to get the Bernina Brand one. I've been told you can also find it at the hardware store but I have as yet not been able to find one that was long enough along with the diameter size I needed.
