Maureen, don't beat yourself up - in spite of what everyone things - kids get beyond whether or not - you attend something like this - as long as they know you care - perhaps you can call and let her know how much you love her.

I was Registrar of Murphy HS, the largest
in the state on any given day. I have been
to many a graduation. Just couldn't make
this one.

That's a shame. I know she'll understand why you couldn't come and maybe the other Grandma showed up and gave her hugs and kisses from you. It's not the same, I know. It's hard to miss important events in our grand children's lives. There will be another one. Look forward to the college graduation!

That is a shame that you won't be able to share this moment with her. I, too, have a granddaughter graduating this week. I just hope that we do make it over there and can get in - tickets are needed to see the graduates here. But, congratulation to the both of you, and KUDO's to her mother. My youngest grandson graduates High School on Sunday, but is at MEPS swearing in tomorrow for the Air Force. We are proud of of service men and women.

Maureen, so sorry to hear about the back & hope you will be on the mend soon. I too, hope someone will be there for your Grand daughter as she achieves this milestone in her life.I pray that all will go well for her mother as she goes to Iran. thinking of you Lillian
