Chocolate cream sandwhiched between two chocolate biscuits (cookies, bikkies) then smothered in chocolate. They are an Australian icon. Best eaten when you take a bit of a bite off two corners from opposite ends and then suck your hot coffee or chocolate through it then try to get the whole bikkie in your mouth before it collapses in a melted chocolate heap. Makes you want to emmigrate really.

WOW!!!!! Cannot believe the reaction to Tim-Tams. But I suppose I just take them for granted. Now, all you USA girls, the sad irony of all this is that Arnotts was an Australian company that got bought out by an American crowd. obviously not very patriotic lot, as they do not look after thier own US women. However, as women, once a year in Australia, they have breast cancer awareness week and tim-Tams come out for a short time in pink. but the chocolate is still brown. I think for that week we should all buy lots even if it means ordering overseas on line, as there is so much cancer research here is Oz that benefits women and their families all over the world.
