Well I really needed one of these, wow it works SUPER! I found the pattern in a mag called Simple Quilts & Sewing. (I have used a plastic vegetable cutting mat from the Dollar store)for the insert to keep the round shape!

Hi Justsew I made a couple of these thread catchers They are wonderful, the first one I filled the top with sand and covered it with a layer of batting. The sand keeps it on the table and the batting us used to hold pins :)
