I use metroemb.com prewounds with no problem on my Brother 6000D. Are you sure the bobbin you are using is the right size for the machine? And are you sure it is inserted the correct way (we all do that sometimes)? If so, it sounds like a tension or stabilizing issue (rather than a bobbin issue).

i have not see metroemb prewounds in australia but will inquire i have double checked the insertion an this is o.k. and i also will see if there is a lighter stabliser thank you for your imput two or more heads is always better to sort things out....soozie
I have purchased Metro thread too. I have used their prewound bobbins on my BabyLock Ellisomo, but I sometimes have a problem with the bobbin thread showing on the top but it is sporatic. They say it is 60 weight, but it appears thinner, seems more like 90 weight to me. Bobbins are not actually the same as 15A that are from BabyLock or Janome, but will work, but I don't think they work as well. They are flat sided, where the BabyLock and Janome bobbins have a very slight curve to them. Also have experienced some jamming with them. I have the best luck with serger thread that I wind myself! Believe it or not! Very inexpensive. SureLock works great, but so do other brands. Web site for Metro Embroidery Thread is: metroemb.com
I have bought all of their colors. Have both sizes. Large 5,000 yard cones are only about $2.00 U.S. and small 1,100 meter cones are only about $.75 U.S. Very inexpensive compared to others...it is Polyester, but very shiny. Hope this helps...Good Luck!

Have you tried Outback threads and bobbin fill?
They are really good and very reasonably priced, but only available in Australia.
I have been using them for a while now and find they stitch nice and even.
Since using them I have not had one breakage and I find the bobbin thread does not show at the top, even when using a dark top thread.

perhaps you can lower the tension of the upperthread a little. It can be too tight andpulls the bobbin thread in sight because of that. **
