a "Celebration of Life" by a TV station, there are going to be some politicians and the great grandson of Sir Winston Churchill, I am not thinking about going, just happy because in just 5 more months I will be considered a survivor... the big mark 5 years!!!!Survivors are going to be ask to alk to this people and tell them about our experience with Insurances Companies,etc., It is going to be in a big Hotel, and I can't walk that much. Congratulations on approaching the 5 year mark. It is a major milestone. I think the invitation sounds like a wonderful opportunity to mark the anniversary and give information regarding your journey. I think you should try to go even if for only part of it to celebrate your achievement. Stay well and healthy.

I would be so happy for you if you could go as I believe you would be one person who could share your whole experience, with others, without glossing it over.
It is so important that survivors aren't afraid to speak up and speak out about their experience, their treatment by the medical profession and especially the ancillary services, who quite often cause more harm than good, with their callous rulings.
We will celebrate with you in five months time.
In the meantime, live with all the love and support we all send your way. :-)

Sweetheart go! The hotel, I am sure, can arrange a wheelchair for you to use during the celebration. What a wonderful gift you are giving to all who are struggling with this terrible disease. You know I'm involved in Relay, as a committee member (praise my Lord that I have not had to do this journey), and I have listened to many very heart-felt stories.
