I too like Schmetz. I bought several of the needle packs from Shopper's Rule. They have sales from time to time and good buys. The link below is the needles deals from the Club specials. I do like the Titanium needles.

Hi again, Ro. I, too, really like the Schmetz, and have heard the Klasse are made by them. I had heard that Organ were fine, but they didn't work very well on my Brother ULT2003. I was having problems with my machine at time though, so I still don't know if it was the organ needle or not. A friend of mine uses organ all the time on her 8 needle Brother without any problems, and she saves lots of money using them. I'd love to know where I can buy Schmetz or Klasse at a good price too! Thanks for asking the question, I'll be watching to see all the answers! Jan

I have used Schmetz, Klasse and now using Organ needles. They have all worked fine on my Brother. Just make sure they are for embroidery or ordinery, depending what you are doing.
Thanks! I was curious because the JoAnn Fabric store should be having a very good sale this weekend. They do carry the Schmetz, and if my old noggin remembers correctly, they were 5$ for a 4-pack before sale pricing. So....I will compare on line prices before I get out the car! Thanks again and I will keep you all posted too!

I like Szhmetz and Klasse too. For machine emb. I like to use the Metallic one as it seems to work better the one meant for Embroidery.

I have bought a box of 100 Schmetz needles for my overlocker from Allbrands for $59.They have all sorts of machine needles. If you are just going to buy a small item ,get a postage quote letting them know all details of item & your address, otherwise the postage could be outrageous if you are living overseas.I know 100 needles seems a lot but they last a long time

Thank you Maria! Hugs to you in London; Edgeware was the place of my birth and first home to my Welsh-born mother and Nottingham-born dad. We used to tease him about his relatives who lived with Robin Hood!;>)

I just bought 100 organ needles off ebay. It gives me 25 changes for my MB4 machine. I paid $20.00 for the 100. From my dealer, I paid $8.00 for 10. Quite a difference for the very same needles.

I used to use schmetz all the time until I discovered organ needles which seem to last longer. I mostly use the titanium organ needles as one needle lasts a very long time. I buy from Superior threads. They have ther own titanium needles but they're made by organ. I found the schmetz broke more often than the organ needles. sometimes it's worth it to pay a little more when they last so much longer between needle changes,
