Hi Cuties, I am in a quandary! Is it illegal to share 'free' designs? I know how much work goes in to digitizing and I would hate to find myself in trouble.

Yep, Terri, it is illegal to share any designs at all, unless you have digitised it yourself.

Terri, you can send a link to the site where you got the free design to whom ever you wish to share it with, but as moyed said you cannot share designs.

Thanks for the info. I will have to learn how to send a link thru Cuties!! I am NOT very computer literate
It is easy. all you have to do is drag your mouse over the address in the browser (at the top) so that it is highlighted then right click the mouse and click copy then you go to where ever you want to put the link and right click again and click paste. You can add a link right in your original post box. or if you are answering a question there is a little green box that you can put the link into, just make sure you only have http:// once. I hope that makes sense, it really is much easier than it sounds.

Oh my gosh Alice, my kids taught me years ago to do the control C and then the control V, I had never known the way you just said, so much easier, gonna whip my kids! Well, they are in their 30s so I don't guess I can whip them, lol! Thanks!
Control C and V is quicker!
Sue I guess it is what you get used to, I have always used copy paste so that is quicker for me, but if you use control C and V then that would be quicker for you.

Thanks for asking because your question just got Alice to tell me the easier way to copy and paste, my kids taught me a longer way years ago and I never heard of how Alice said and it is much easier!
