I have Windows 7 and when I plug the USB Cord into my computer from the machine I get a message that says it cannot read the USB portal. Is there a patch driver or a download or upgrade that will help me.

However, I'm sure that the PR600 Yahoo group can help. I recommend you consider joining them to learn everything you ever want to know about your wonderful new machine. They maintain a LOT of info in their Yahoo Files Section and the people on the group are terrific about helping.

I always just use a usb stick (thumb drive) for my pr machines but both of mine are later models. does the pr600 have a socket for a usb stick, I think this is much easier because you don't have to have a cord from your computer to the machine. You will love it when you get used to it.
