that I would not have been able to see. So any of you with auto thread cutters, make sure you take the throat plate off and vacuum or brush it out everytime you sew.....I brush out the bobbin area but apparently wasn't getting the other part good enough, however he did say that he had never seen a mess like this and did not believe it was my fault, that something must have malfunctioned to cause it....does anyone use one of those small vacuums on their machines and do they work?

no mine never worked so now i use my hubbys compresser and blow it out good!!carolyn

I have the small vacuum...but I haven't used it yet. However, I was told to never blow the lint out, because it just pushes most of the lint in further. (Plus the air from a compressor is humid. In this case canned air is better.)

My dealer told me the same thing and also didn't recommend the can air stuff because he said it would just blow lint up into the machine where you can't get at it. ✿4U
